Price enquiry retrieves shipping rates from available carriers during booking. Prices are based on your carrier agreement and the shipment details entered for the booking.
When to use this
Use price enquiry to see shipment costs before booking, verify shipment pricing, and review chargeable shipment weight.
Steps
Go to
Enter the sender and receiver information
Select a service that supports price enquiry
Note
Some carriers require additional setup before price enquiry can be used. See Carriers.
Enter the shipment details
Select to retrieve the price
Result
The shipment price, chargeable weight, and pricing details returned by the carrier are displayed.
Note
Price information may not always be updated when services are updated. Charges for certain additional services may not be included in the price enquiry result.
