Account

You can use the partner account to build and test the integration without the risk of being charged.

The partner account is also used for onboarding customers.

A partner account differs from a production account:

  • No electronic information is transmitted to the carrier, and no status information is displayed for the shipments you create.

  • No other communication takes place, for example, advance shipment notifications are not sent.

  • Labels printed out have "TEST" printed across the bar code in order to avoid accidental use.

A partner account can't be converted into a production account and vice versa.

If you want a separate account for building and testing you can apply for a test account. A test account is valid for a limited time and can't be used to onboard customers through the webshop.

You can also use your customer's account.

Configure an account

How to configure the account depends on:

  • Which nShift product you integrate with

  • Which features the customer will use

  • Which integration method the customer will use

  • The degree of integration vs. manual handling

Please refer to nShift Delivery and nShift Checkout for guidelines regarding configuration.
